Josh Miller
Pastor
Josh Miller became pastor in May, 2019. He grew up in the Birmingham, Alabama, area and attended Southeastern Bible College there. After graduation, he moved to Dallas, where he attended Dallas Theological Seminary. He has served other churches in worship and student ministry positions. He and his wife Ana have two young children, Nathan and Ava.
Melissa Rhodes
Minister of Music
Melissa Rhodes is Minister of Music and plans and leads the music portion of worship services. She directs the DBC Music Makers choir, which presents special musical programs for Christmas and Easter. She is assisted by Brendan Rhodes at the piano and Sherry Hoke at the organ.
Jason Tucker
Youth Pastor
Jason Tucker became the youth pastor at our church in November, 2020. He grew up near Alexandria, LA and attended Louisiana Tech in Ruston, LA for undergrad. After graduation, he moved back to Alexandria and worked as a youth pastor and worship leader while attending Southwestern Theological Seminary online. He married his wife, Hannah in September, 2019 and they have a dog named Daisy.
Deacons
Tim Lankford, Cecil Perry, Marvin Lankford, and Charlie Massingill are currently serving as deacons. The deacons of the church are available to members as help might be needed. They provide leadership throughout the church, serving on ministry teams and as Sunday School teachers.
